LHDC for Hazardous Area: analog and digital linear heat detection cable - A2S Blog

LHDC FOR ATEX ZONE

Analog and digital linear heat sensing cable (LHDC) can be installed in a "hazardous area" through certification. The barrier must be installed between the LHDC and the zone monitor (interface circuit). The monitor should be located in a designated safety area.

The linear heat sensing cable and end of line termination can be a simple device in the digital analog installation.
