Cable gland ADE 1F2 DS

The ADE 1F2 DS cable glands connect a non-armed cable or shielded cable to an ex d, ex, ex, ex, ex, ex, ex, ex, ex p, in-areas at risk of explosions. A wide range of threads is available, from M12 to M110 EN ISO or 1/2 '' to 4 '' in NPT, to cover all cable sizes. These cable glands are usually made of nickel-plated brass, or 316L stainless steel for better corrosion resistance in difficult industrial environments (chemical plants, offshore sites, etc ...). For particular applications, we can also offer aluminum or bronze (contact us). The two silicone sealing rings support extreme temperatures and make it possible to obtain a perfect explosion sealing on the outer sheath of the cable. These sealing rings integrate an anti-dustpick, for temporary protection of your equipment during transport. The presence of these two sealing rings ensures a good mechanical maintenance of the cable and exempts to use an external mooring module. In the case where this cable gland is used for a shielded cable, the EMC continuity is not ensured by the cable gland and will therefore have to be performed inside the unit.
