(à modifier dans le module "Réassurance")
Applications:
• Plugs and sockets are used to power mobile or stationary electrical equipment, such as:
- Lighting systems
- Converter groups
- Heating systems
- Engines
- Air conditioning units
- Compressors
- Pumps.
• For use in a corrosive atmosphere and installation in zone 1 - 2 and 21 - 22 in the petrochemical and gas industry, such as:
- Refineries
- Chemical and petrochemical plants
- Pipelines
- Loading docks
- Onshore and offshore drilling installations
- LNG Trains
- Gas Compressor Stations.
Technical characteristics :
• The plugs and sockets are fitted with a system with a secure separation mechanism to ensure maximum protection in risk areas:
- The contacts are separated in an explosion-proof chamber
- The automatic cut-off of each phase is contained in a second explosion-proof chamber.
• The resistance to short-circuit currents is 20 kA, while the standard requires 10 kA.
• The identification of tensions is facilitated by a color code.
• The bases are fitted with a polarizer that accepts only ATX plugs (the other plugs cannot be inserted).
• ATX plugs can be used in standard sockets not intended for hazardous areas.
Standard materials
• Wall plinth: high mechanical resistance in polyester reinforced with glass fibers.
• Plug, mobile socket and built-in base: polyamide.
