Serial sockets and plugs PRE 16 A has unstoppable contacts that allow you to safely supply fixed and portable equipment such as lighting systems, conveyors, heating and air conditioning equipment, compressors, pumps and generators. Ideal for use in wet, wet or corrosive environments, PRE sockets and sheets are identified by a colour marking in accordance with the IEC guidelines. The sockets are available in version for wall mounting, recessable or mobile.

The plug and plug system includes a safety disconnect mechanism to ensure maximum protection in hazardous areas.
- The contacts are kept separate in an anti-deflagrant chamber
- The automatic electrical disconnection device of each phase is contained in a second anti-deflagrant chamber
- The short circuit protection is 20 kA, so the normal reference is 10 kA
- Different voltages are coded by color for easy identification
- The sockets have been designed to accept only the ATX plugs (other plugs cannot be inserted)
- ATX plugs can be used in non-dangerous sockets in accordance with IEC 309
