Telegrafia offers medium to large flood early warning systems. These systems can be integrated into a warning and alert system with one or more monitoring systems. They can be controlled from the OCP16 control and dispatching console or from Vektra® software applications for different types of systems.
The monitoring system : It monitors the current hydrometeorological situation in real time by monitoring precipitation rates and river levels.
Alert system with sirens: Using the information provided by the monitoring system, it can quickly alert the population living in the danger area.
Warning system : In the event of an extraordinary event, it can send a voice or text message to inform the relevant people and simultaneously call the crisis cells.
THE COMPONENTS OF THIS ALERT SYSTEM
WEATHER STATION AND DETECTORS
The monitoring station monitors precipitation levels and other weather variables. The sensors measure and report dangerous rises in levels of rivers, dams and settling tanks.
EMA MONITORING POST
The EMA Compact monitoring station collects measured and calculated data from multiple channels and then transmits this information to the alert command center as well as to mobile phones.
ALERT AND WARNING COMMAND CENTER
The system can be configured with different situation scenarios depending on the danger and the expected development. Warning of competent persons, -Transmission of preventive / alert messages, Automatic activation of the system
PAVIAN ELECTRONIC SIRENS
After obtaining the values from the detectors, these are recorded and processed before the Pavian electronic sirens automatically trigger the alert signal.
COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE
The communication infrastructure enables instant communication between the control center and other elements of the monitoring, alert and warning system.
COMPETENT PERSONS INFORMED
Those affected are informed of the occurrence of an extraordinary situation by telephone or SMS, then asked to go to their place of work or to participate in rescue operations.
