How to choose your warning light

Selection assistance

Optical warning devices inform of a state or danger or alert in industries, infrastructures, transport, etc. and can be used to highlight buildings or monuments.

A2S optical alarms meet the needs of the most demanding applications.

Types of lamps

Incandescent lamps: A tungsten wire, subjected to high temperatures, emits light energy over a broad spectrum.

Halogen lamps: A glass body (smaller volume than conventional bulbs) is used, filling it with halogens (iodine, bromine). The deterioration of the filament is slower, which gives a constant, or even higher, output.

Xenon flash tubes: Applying a high enough voltage across a glass body filled with xenon results in a very intense light pulse.

LED: LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are optical semiconductors that transform an electrical voltage into visible light.
