In order to best choose our LED lighting fixtures, we offer our lighting study services.

We can help you design the lighting system best suited to your needs and your ATEX constraints, ranging from a simple premises to a production unit and covering both the interior and exterior of the site. .

This study will highlight the benefits of the LED solution in terms of lighting performance and efficiency during hours of darkness, increased brightness and reduced consumption on site.

We provide you with 2D and 3D lighting design plans to highlight the best possible lighting positions, number of fittings and detailed lighting levels.

Working closely with you, our design office determines your specific needs, and shows you what the final lighting installation will look like in a variety of practical views.

Site modeling

A 3D design plan is used to provide you with a visual representation of what the final installed lighting solution actually looks like, demonstrating the lux levels and light spread that will be achieved on stage.

Video lighting study

A2S offers a video study of your final lighting scheme. With a 3D virtual tour, you get a real-life look at how the facility will work – from every angle.

Video lighting mapping

2D and 3D lighting plans can also be supplied with color view, providing a mapping of light intensity and spread across the site. This is used to show that the area has been evenly lit, which is crucial to achieving the highest level of safety and security.

Position of luminaires

Our lighting solutions are highly targeted, to provide only the right amount of light needed on site for maximum efficiency and minimum losses. Beam direction tracing shows the precise aiming point of each LED light, elevation angle and exact position of each fixture.

Note: Directional lighting may allow for much lower light output!

2D lighting positions

A 2D lighting study is used to plot each fixture on the CAD drawing of your site. It shows the direction and distribution of lighting and uses contour lines to show detailed lux levels in different areas. This type of design explains exactly how to achieve the desired result and can be used as a guide during the installation phase.

Uploading photometric data

The photometric data can be used by other engineers and designers in their lighting design software to create your own bespoke lighting schemes using our luminaires.
