A2S has provided Prezioso, a specialist in surface processing, with a package including the design and manufacture of custom ATEX distribution/processing cabinets as well as portable ATEX distribution boxes for lighting, Led ATEX lighting and various accessories (cables, power outlets, etc.).

The aim was to provide Prezioso personnel with the necessary lighting during the punctual and mobile maintenance operations carried out on board the Chevron floating production unit located off the Angolan coast. We have worked in close cooperation with Prezioso's electric coordinators on the definition of lighting requirements, conditioned by the number of employees involved on the ship and the tasks to be carried out", points out Nicolas Sevestre, manager of A2S. For example, work has determined the number of distribution/transformation cabinets to be deployed and, above all, their specific characteristics such as power, type, number and position of power outlets, installation of a roof and protective railings, lifting rings, or a rear cable roll-out device.
